Setting Up Another Device

Herdly can be installed on as many devices (Mac and Windows computers as well as iPhones and iPads) as you want. Setting up another device is as simple as installing Herdly on it and then logging in as a user of your ranch. If you are setting up a device for a someone who doesn't have a user account in your ranch yet, make sure you set one up for them first (see Users).

When you're ready to set up the device, follow these steps:

1. Install Herdly on the device. See Installing Herdly for details on how to do this.
2. Log in to Herdly as one of the users (see Logging In). This will cause Herdly to download all the ranch's data which may take a bit of time.

Now you can use Herdly on that device.
